Tom, Barbara’s computer still stays on, although the screen goes dark during hibernation. This is the computer upstairs in her office. I guess you talked me into the fact that when it’s not in use, there shouldn’t be any moving parts going. David

I can do a remote check if you want to see why it is still running… normally when a computer goes into stanby or hibernation all the inside parts stop moving and it looks as if the computer is off it weren’t for a couple of lights on the device.
